The Daika dryer is an advanced system developed for drying grains and other agricultural products. It uses heat pipe dehumidification (US Patents 4,607,498, 5,404,938, and 5,845,702), a technology derived from NASAs Space Program, combined with a high efficiency heat pump system, the most advanced dryer ever for farmers.

Daika systems dry far faster than conventional dryers because the drying air is highly dehumidified. They also dry at lower temperatures to preserve the quality of the grains.

The results: Very low energy cost, faster drying time.

Features

  • Use of passive loop heat pipes to maximize moisture removal from the drying air.

  • Extraction of heat from ambient air by heat pipes to increase heat pump COP. More drying heat for less kW.

  • Lightweight, transportable or fixed installation.

  • Low temperature drying for high grain quality.

  • Short drying time and efficient drying in all weather conditions especially in high humidity environments.
